Children's Privacy

Our commitment

Children's wellbeing and privacy come first at Bravii. We designed the app to collect as little information about a child as possible, to keep families firmly in control, and to never use children's data for advertising. This page explains, in plain language, how we protect the youngest people who use Bravii.

Bravii is set up and run by a grown-up

Bravii is designed to be created and operated by a parent, guardian or authorised practitioner — not by a child alone. Adults create the account, add child profiles, build routines and manage settings. The child's experience is the friendly, guided part of the app: following steps, hearing them read aloud, and celebrating wins.

The minimal child data we collect — and why

For each child, Bravii holds only what the app needs to guide their day and show progress to trusted adults:

• First name — so steps and celebrations feel personal. No surname is required or requested.
• Age — to keep the experience age-appropriate.
• Avatar — a chosen character so children can recognise themselves in the app.
• Routine activity — which steps were completed and when, so progress, star charts and celebrations work.

We do not ask for a child's surname, contact details, precise location, photographs or other identifying information, and we ask parents not to add data that isn't needed.

No ads, no ad profiling

Bravii shows no advertising and does no behavioural advertising or profiling of children for ads. We do not sell or rent children's data, and we do not use it to build marketing profiles. Aggregated routine patterns may be used to generate supportive insights for a parent (see our Privacy Policy), never for advertising.

Parental controls

Parents and guardians stay in control at all times. You can:

• Protect the Parent Dashboard with a local PIN;
• View, edit or remove a child's profile and routines at any time;
• Delete your account and all data permanently, in-app or by email (see Delete Your Account & Data); and
• Grant practitioner access only via a single-use, expiring code — and revoke it whenever you choose.

COPPA (United States)

Bravii is intended to be operated by parents and guardians, who provide and control the limited information entered about a child. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we collect only minimal child information to make the app work, we do not condition a child's use on disclosing more than is reasonably necessary, we do not use children's information for behavioural advertising, and we give parents the ability to review and delete their child's information at any time by managing or deleting the account. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

GDPR-K (United Kingdom & European Union)

For families in the UK and EU, our processing of a child's information relies on the parent or guardian who sets up and controls the account. We follow data-minimisation and purpose-limitation principles — collecting only what is needed to provide the app — and we apply the same protections described above regardless of where you live. Parents can exercise access, correction and deletion rights at any time.
